Music Opportunities
There are numerous opportunities at MGLC
to share your musical talents!
Our mission is to create and maintain meaningful worship experiences in the Lutheran tradition for all age groups, and encourage regular attendance and active participation in our family of faith. By doing so we strive to make and nurture disciples of all ages.
Exciting songs include lots of movement, sign language, and a few surprises. The Choirs sing monthly during worship services and some festive services. Come and join the fun as we offer up our voices in praise and worship. New children are welcome to join the fun!

If you sing in the shower, in the car or behind the house, come and sing with one of our music groups. Adults of all ages and singing abilities are encouraged to join one of our music groups. There are no tryouts. The choir assists in leading our congregation during the worship liturgy and learns beautiful choir anthems that praise our Lord. Meet new friends or greet old acquaintances as you share God’s gift of voice.

Celebration Worship Team and WWB
These bands support our Sunday and Wednesday contemporary services. If you are interested in playing an instrument or singing with these groups, e-mail Kurt Schwedler or Brian Hanson.
The Brass Ensemble generally supports our traditional services on the fourth Sundays and on special occasions. If you play a brass instrument and would like additional information please contact Ken Turnquist. All others who play woodwinds, brass, strings and percussion should contact Jens Jensen to become part of our growing instrumental talent group.
Are you creative or enjoy hands-on involvement? MGLC is looking for members interested finding unique ways to make worship a meaningful and enriching experience through the seasons of the church year (Lent, Easter, Pentecost, Reformation Sunday, Thanksgiving, Advent, and Christmas). Participate in one season or several. If interested, e-mail Jens Jensen.
