Feed My Starving Children
"Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they will be filled”
(Matthew 5:6).
Located in Coon Rapids, Feed My Starving Children is a non-profit Christian organization founded in 1987 by a Minnesota businessman. After making a trip to Honduras, he felt called by God to help starving children around the world.
How you can help. Package nutritious meals that will be sent to hungry children around the world.
For more information about this life-changing ministry, visit Feed My Starving Children
Blood Drive
Much of today’s medical care depends on a steady supply of blood from healthy donors. While 60% of the U.S. population is eligible to donate blood, only 5% donate regularly.
Roll up your sleeve and give the gift of life; be a blood donor. The foremost reason donors give is because they “want to help others.” To donate blood, you must be age 17 or older, weigh at least 110 pounds and be in good health. Volunteers needed to coordinate the bi-annual blood drives.
Christmas Gifts
Families Advocating for Children In Crisis (FACIC) is for local children in need. Remember a child this Christmas who is displaced because of physical, emotional, sexual abuse or neglect in the home. Names of children participating in the FACIC program are available at the church office. Shop, wrap and deliver gifts to the church for your sponsored child.
