We’ve got a bunch of runners in our community of faith: Andrew, Danya and Mike, to name a few.  Holy Scriptures says that spiritually, we’re all runners in a race.

Do you see what this means—all these pioneers who blazed the way, all these veterans cheering us on? It means we'd better get on with it. ... Keep your eyes on Jesus, who both began and finished this race we're in. Study how he did it. Because he never lost sight of where he was headed—that exhilarating finish in and with God—he could put up with anything along the way: Cross, shame, whatever. And now he's there, in the place of honor, right alongside God. When you find yourselves flagging in your faith, go over that story again, item by item, that long litany of hostility he plowed through. That will shoot adrenaline into your souls!

We’re meant to run this race together, not alone.
 

We welcome all who wish to join us in that race of faith! There’s no requirements, restrictions, or costs.  Jesus already took care of that. Just come with a desire to get started. We’ll run together, encouraging each other to stay the course. Jesus will help us each step, and welcome us at the finish into the winner’s circle.

Be received into our family of faith on Sunday, February 26 at our 10:45 am Worship Service and join us for a brunch following from noon to 1 pm, to meet, greet and complete an orientation of ministries at Maple Grove Lutheran.
