Jordan New Life Community Church
Located in the Jordan neighborhood of North Minneapolis, Jordan New Life Community Church reaches out to neighborhood residents.
MGLC has partnered with Jordan New Life for six years, working with Pastor La and the JNL staff in a variety of ways: Vacation Bible School (offered by MGLC and Green Lake Bible Camps), monthly Community Building meals, a Thanksgiving Basket program, Children's Christmas Shopping event, and more. Volunteer opportunities:
Thanksgiving Baskets - help shop for grocery supplies for Thanksgiving which are given to families needing help in the neighborhood.
Children’s Christmas Shopping - help children shop and wrap low-cost gifts in December for family members.
Community-building Meal - three times a year MGLC serves those who attend the monthly Jordan New Life community-building meal.
Jordan New Life Task Force - join other partnering churches work alongside JNL staff in their planning efforts.
