Sponsor a child through ASON International
“Whoever welcomes this little child in my name welcomes me; and whoever welcomes me welcomes the one who sent me”  (Luke 9:48).

The love and joy a sponsored child feels is immeasurable. The hope offered is far-reaching. Just $25 a month, less than $1 a day, pays for a child’s education, a special Christmas party, Birthday party and Summer Camp. Pictures of children who are patiently waiting for a sponsor may be accessed at www.ASON.org. You may not be able to help everyone, but the ones that you do, it will make a huge difference in their lives - we’ve seen it firsthand!

Mission Trips

2008 Sr. High Mission Trip
This summer 9-12th graders and friends are invited to Fort Apache Indian Reservation, Arizona for a mission trip July 18 -28, 2008. Various work projects and sharing the love of Christ with young people Kids Club. Register by January 16. Registration forms are located on Todd’s office door. 

2008 Jr High Mission Trip
Each year youth at MGLC serve as the hands and feet of Jesus on a summer mission trip. This summer 6-8th graders and their friends are invited to travel to Thunder Bay, Ontario for a mission trip.

Edible Arrangements
Edible Arrangements in Maple Grove will contribute 5% of the business they receive from MGLC members to the Jr. and Sr. High mission trips this summer. Edible Arrangements is a new and unique store that offers a variety of fresh fruit bouquets for all occasions. Pick up a flyer in the church office to present when you make a purchase or inform them that you are a member of MGLC and would like a percentage of your purchase donated back to the church. Edible Arrangements is located at 13712 Grove Dr., Maple Grove.

Applebee’s Flapjack Fundraiser
Enjoy a great breakfast and help support our youth mission trips to Fort Apache, Arizona and Thunder Bay, Ontario this summer. Held Saturday, May 17 from 8:00-10:00 a.m. at Maple Grove Applebee’s. Contact Todd.
