Ambassadors for Christ

“So we are ambassadors for Christ, God making his appeal through us”
(II Corinthians 5:20).

Ambassadors for Christ welcome first-time visitors by delivering a fresh loaf of bread and a small information package about MGLC to the visitor’s home. It is our way of saying “thanks for worshiping with us.” Without exception, new members who have received a visit have expressed what a positive and welcoming experience it was.

This brief and informal stop is to simply thank a visitor for worshiping with us, answer any questions they may have, and connect them with a pastor if requested.

This fulfilling and simple outreach is looking for your help. Ambassadors are scheduled on a rotating basis each Sunday.

Below is the Ambassador schedule through mid February, 2009. Thank you all for participating in this important welcoming program.  It is really appreciated by our visitors.

As to the schedule, if you need to switch your week, please do so by finding someone to switch with, and then let the church office know.  Please contact me at the number or email below with any questions, concerns or suggestions.
