Summer Education Hour
Now through Sunday, August 26, 10:10 a.m.
This summer set aside time each Sunday morning at MGLC to grow in faith. Pastor Peterson and Pastor Chiles take turns leading our summer series between Sunday worship services, from 10:10 to 10:50 a.m. through August 26.
The Power of Forgiveness is a compelling four-session series that will open both mind and heart to help us understand and embrace forgiveness. We’ll hear the struggle to forgive through real life experiences of people. Even though forgiveness is central to Christian faith, it can at times seem impossible. There comes a time when we face the difficult choice to forgive others and to forgive ourselves. Come and learn why forgiveness is imperative for Christians, and so necessary for a wholesome and free life.
Then, bring your questions about who God is and how God is at work in our lives and the world today, through the series Experiencing God: Questions for the Contemporary Church. Brief video reflections by Luther Seminary will help jumpstart our conversations that range from the theological to the everyday!
