Maple Grove Lutheran Church Council Meeting Minutes
July 19, 2007
The council met on Thursday July 19th at 7:00 PM.
Land Sale Update:
Rick Moulton reported that indeed, the sale of the property fell through. It appears that the potential buyers were unable to get financing. A letter detailing this information will be going out to the congregation by the end of the week.
Facilities Team Update:
Teri Johnson gave us an update on the addition. The facilities team had met with Langer Construction and they said we were at a good stopping point. Once the land is sold, we can pick up where we left off and we will proceed with the plans that we already have. They should be able to begin work with approximately one months notice.

Pastor Durk asked for a vote on accepting the new members. Jon Brandon made a motion to accept the new members into our congregational family. This was seconded by Deb Ellefson, motion carried.
Pastor Reports:
Pastor Durk shared his report.
Tabi Horne is busy recruiting church school staff.
