“Play and Praise”

“Play and Praise” meets the 1st and 3rd Wednesdays of each month from 9:30 to 11 a.m. Play and Praise is a time for parents and caregivers to get to know others with young children, ages birth through 6. The children play together, the parents/caregivers talk together and play with the children. We all gather for a time of worship and praise for the last 15-20 minutes. There is no cost, but there is fun, fellowship and praise. Bring your friends and your neighbors.

Food Collection Sunday

The first Sunday and first Wednesday of every month is designated as Food Collection Sunday. During the offering, children are asked to bring their donations forward to the altar.

This is a very special way to encourage children to be an active part of the worship service, to encourage them in helping others, and in giving them a very concrete way to demonstrate their giving ability. Six months of the year, the food will be donated to CROSS, which services Maple Grove and the surrounding communities. Six months of the year, the food will be donated to Jordan New Life and service the people in that section of Minneapolis.
